Description
Financial advisors require tools to manage accounts and share information with clients. The objective of this course was to encourage financial advisors to embrace a newer and more efficient way of opening and managing accounts. While the financial industry has slowly moved away from paper documents and face to face meetings to maintain accounts and educate account holders, many advisors resist learning new digital solutions.
This project was created with Storyline 360 using Camtasia for animations and Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for photo editing and graphics creation.
The point was to instill confidence; make the learner feel free to explore the tool on their own. “Get the learners’ feet wet” (not throw them into the deep end of the pool and cause further intimidation and discouragement). Think of it as a trust building exercise.
After introducing the benefits of the tool, the learner performs an account maintenance task on their own. Videos, animations and interactions introduce how this financial tool can improve services and ultimately lead to better customer satisfaction and improved profit. Interactive software simulations prompt decision-making with each click immediately followed by an encouraging response to help them along the way. If they feel comfortable enough to successfully complete this task, they should be able to do most tasks on their own. Each learning task is followed by a learning assessment that is also designed to build their confidence.

Description
Biomedical and life sciences products salespersons require continuous education and training to sharpen their skills. Knowledge is key in this ever-changing industry. Just as important as knowing your product is knowing your audience. The purpose of this course is to acquaint non-healthcare professionals with the biology of prostate cancer and how it is identified and treated in order to better communicate with healthcare providers. If a medical salesperson understands the disease their product is treating, they can better serve the healthcare provider and ultimately the patient.
This project was created with Rise 360 using Camtasia and After Effects for animations and Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for photo editing and graphics creation.
Using a combination of engaging video animations, rollovers, clickable graphics, audio and text, this Rise 360 course provides a step by step overview of everything you need to know about prostate cancer and treatment options.
This course also provides an extensive lexicon for commonly used prostate health terms and periodic performance assessments designed to reinforce knowledge.

Description
The California Correctional Health Care Services (CCHCS) uses Cerner electronic medical records software to store, capture and access patient health information. For many years, training on this software was delivered either through printed manuals or instructor led. My job was to translate Cerner’s existing instructor led training into storyboards and finally eLearning courses. Fortunately, CCHCS provided access to their training portal which allowed me to create patient medical record scenarios for live mouse click screen captures using Adobe Captivate. A lot of careful planning took place to build out the scenarios, which included fictitious patients with various health conditions.
